Project Manager:

ArabNet is looking for a Project Manager with a young and creative mind.

Responsibilities:

·         Develop project plans for ArabNet events, in coordination with the management team
·         Lead day-to-day execution and management
·         Improve organizational structure, processes, procedures and documentation

Requirements / skills:

·         He/she must have at least 3-5 years experience in managing projects
·         Must have experience managing teams
·         Highly organized and meticulous, used to working with many moving pieces
·         Willing to work overtime and comfortable with deadlines
·         Excited to work in a young, flat, collaborative environment
·         Holds a BA, and great English writing skills
·         Must be bilingual – English/Arabic

Python Developer:

ArabNet is looking for a full time, young and talented Python developer, to take on the responsibility of developing new projects and maintaining existing ones. The candidate must have excellent knowledge of the Python programming language (2.x), SQL databases, and basic web applications development techniques. He/she must also be able to work with an already established application, and be very independent, rigorous and self-taught.

Requirements / skills:

·          +1 year experience developing web applications with Python 2.x
·          Knowledge of agile software development methodology
·          Ability to manage code using revision control systems (git and/or mercurial)
·          Comfortable working with Linux
·          Basic knowledge of HTML scripting is required (CSS & JavaScript is a plus)
·          Being good with interpersonal communication
·          Managing time and priorities
·          College Degree required (or equivalent experience)
·          Fluent bilingualism (English – Arabic, written-spoken)
·          Excited about Technology, Web and Mobile businesses

 

Executive Assistant:

ArabNet is looking to hire a full-time assistant to the VP

·         He/She must be organized, meticulous, and a strong multi-tasker
·         Willing to work overtime and comfortable with deadlines
·         Holds a BA, and great English writing skills
·         Must be bilingual – English/Arabic

 

Graphic Designer:

ArabNet is looking for a Graphic Designer with a creative mind, full of fresh, cutting-edge ideas.

He/she must be meticulous in execution, with experience in both Online and Print design.

Responsibilities:

·          Understand the objectives and develop graphic concepts on various projects in collaboration with the Project Manager
·          Create visual content including the provision of text and layout
·          Understand the graphic specifications
·          Be knowledgeable with the current updates for new design tools and trends

Requirements / skills:

·          +1 year experience in web and print design
·          Comfortable with: Adobe’s Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (Advanced knowledge is a plus)
·          +1 year experience coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript toolkits   like jQuery, is a plus)
·          Fluent bilingualism (English – Arabic, written-spoken)
·          College Degree required (or equivalent experience)
·          Excited about Technology, Web and Mobile businesses.
